Voices

Why do I have these twisted thoughts?
That leave me stretched out like a used rubber band.
So I must beware the voice inside my head,
My instincts tell me to act fast…
But I'm too scared to move,
Can't you help me?

The voice echoes within my skull,
Steering me into madness,
Every word and every action controlled by it.

Even though I want to try,
Should I just give up to this madness?

Searching for an answer until it forces me to surrender.
