Voices

Voices on the wind
Shouting through the leaves of the trees
Standing in the same spots thousands have before us
We don't see or hear the past that lays beneath
To recognized what was
Can identify what is to be
Emotions like a first kiss
Can only be felt and never seen
The past is all around us
Some how always forgotten
We truly only see our selves
