Voice
Voice
The pain slowly drips down the walls
I stare, I remember, the horror of it all
Fast, slow, the pulse variates to move
From nothing, that I have to ‘prove’
Your actions speak every single day
As they have since the past, I put away
You say you don’t care if you go …
--- To that other place ---
Oh, how I remember your blank face
Your conscience left you so long ago
I’m not sure when, but I witnessed, I know
You’ve hurt so many people, on this long road
If you’re reading this, there is no code
For you know what I mean, every word I say
This ‘voice’ you will never, ever take away!
