Voice

Hundreds of words written
waiting to be read
each letter a note
waiting to be heard
some are discordent
and harsh to our ears
others carry a sweet melody
and are like honey to our soul
there are a few that carry an unusial sound
we stop to listen to something new
and others that we listen to
because we have to
These songs are the very soul of us
waiting to be heard
but if we never write them down
then who but you will listen
