At first I wondered
who are these old guys?
Inspiration then dawned
with the unyielding force
of a new day’s reality;
they are me!
I’ve gained no special options
apart from the others,
these fourth place winners,
of the Southeast Asian Team.
In their faces I see myself
as they sit wondering:
who are these old guys?
