I join in spirit; the public of France.' Who young and older in romance Entwined desire, with freedoms fire' In peaceful protest; contrast the ire ' Of devious governments desires' They do not reckon, or balance out For sustainable living people shout.' Take them from the billions spent Squeezed in utiltys and soaring rent It' was spent on war, the mood is sore! Ecological damage, way up the score Animals trees parks and farms Is this saving the planet.? Or egregious harm.?

Hi, there simply are not enough young who work to support the older pensioners. Unlike here where we are going down the toilet printing paper money.for a madman of a president. Banks are closing, food supplies are low ,, while The BIDEN Crime family cashes in, China-is friends with Biden? They plan to take over the USA. They already killed millions worldwide with the China virus. Pangie xo Meanwhile we are getting closer to world war. And all the fake news channels lie…. Especially The View Pangie

Yet examples are needed and I do think standards were better say from the 1930s Through to the 1970's excluding hitler/nazis, stalin just my Take on things

Joe, If any human being thinks they are pure, I beg to differ. Ordinary folks cheat their bosses wives husbands. We even cannot keep our word. We elected these nuts. So? People do not keep their word. Not even to themselves. Those two sex morons are not responsible for the world situation. Ordinary people are whores and adulterers and pretend to be perfect. Integrity is required for a sane world. And if Hitler was not stopped, the US was his next target. Welcome to the world. The ordinary person needs to knock off the pretense, you forgot! We murder the unborn by the thousands! We promote self assisted suicides. We castrate boys to be girls. Nothing sane about the ordinary person.think about it. We each need to look inside our hearts, I am not into ConspiracyTheories. With morons for leaders we have no idea how they lie. I know you to be a good person. Why! Joe, of course the title of your poem lured me in, lol. I have always dreamed of traveling to France the home of my ancestors, and although Paris and other cities have many charms there are some things quite unpleasant, like garbage everywhere at the moment because of the strike by those who pick it up, rents and food too expensive for the regular person to afford, poor employment, lots of slums and poverty if one looks close enough, good write, blessings, Constance

It seems crooked Govts everywhere are skimming millions from taxpayers money and offering it to big business to help them stay in power. France is one such country. Food for thought in your poem Joe.

I agree with Harry! Two sides to story, many countries young men died so we could be free. HILTER, Stalin were not nice people anymore than Putin or Xi.
