Visiting Other Realms

As planets 
appear
           on the screen
we watch, amazed
       only small creatures
in an endless cosmos
       we needn't worry 
about the vast expanse
of space
        we choose 
the path
           we'll walk on
let the sun shine
down and warm us
       we'll survive
            moon circling overhead
       we'll survive
               one million lights
in a darkenening sky
       well, we're part 
of it , after all
so we might as 
    well 
          join  
               in
the cosmic dance
      In the end
we'll all be one
     The stars are 
burning
    The stars are burning
we didn't start the fire
but we'll tame it - use it to our best advantage)
     Live in our fragile 
structure
        watch as the years turn to gold
Yes, as stars light the way 
the years slowly turn to gold
