The first poem I ever wrote was called "People are People" I wrote that when I was 21 years young. I wrote it when I first learned of the death of John Lennon. It's the only poem I wrote in 35 years.I found it years later and posted it on face book. To my surprise I got like 200 comments on my poem. A friend of mine read it and asked me if I can write a poem for her about Dr. Seuss for her grand-daughter. After not writing a single poem in all those years, I didn't know if I had it in me. So that being said, this is the second poem I wrote after a 35 year drought..lol I have been writing poems for about 3 years now and I have written over 400 poems.and I published my first book. Books 2-3 are in the works. Thanks for taking the time out and reading my poetry. All the very best, Charlie
