Vision 2020 and T50
For the past decade or so, Malaysia, she has her Vision 2020...
Suddenly, out of the blue, Malaysia has her vision amended to T50...
2020 was great in its futuristic projections...
But implementations, brother! So many imperfections...
Along comes the latest man of power with his blinkered vision...
Admitted he tweaked a little on that 2020 legacy from Dr M's administration..
Expanded his chest, blew hot air and said he has the T50 vision for our nation...
He envisioned our nation progressing way beyond Vision 2020 expectations...
Now, little people like you and me, we are bewildered and befuddled...
Are the political bigwigs living their dreams, power and money among themselves....
While we the little people wrestle with the harsh realities ourselves...
Remember the sage advice about teaching a man how to fish...
So that he may yet survive beyond any given fish...
How does giving out cash incentives help families better survive...
When incapitating them into alms expecting zombies hoping for handouts...
Incapacble of fathoming they are just mere pawns in a political shootout...
Mega deals trumpeted and gushed glowing tributes over China deals...
You and me are left to wonder how much quarters were given up for these mega deals...
Will these deals provide economic benefits direct to us the people...
Or will it means overseas secure jobs here in Malaysia for the milling China people...
