Virginia—set Mothman Free!

Mothman ate your clothes?
No way; too big for dressers
—mus’be his baby cuz!

Ah, the Mothman! I remember this growing up and then there was the movie with Gere. He is fascinating since he would seem not to an animal per se, but some humanoid hybrid or simply a true demon from Hell. Thanks for this! It brought back memories! Regards, Gerard.

Hi Joseph, I found the information I compiled on the Mothman and would be happy to send it to you if you care to provide an email address. I did a lot of research on legends and mysteries and still have my Mothman file, though I never did write a poem about it. Just let me know if you have any interest. If not, that's fine. Love, Carolyn

Joseph, I actually did some research on the "mothman" and couldn't find enough substantiation that it truly existed. Still, I got a great laugh reading your witty poem! Love, Carolyn
