Virgin Mother

Mother Mary
My rosary calling you
Mother and friend
Advocate and queen!

Catholic church singing
Christians turning to you
Books speaking of you
Oceans and seas kissing you
Mountains bending to you.

Mary, Mary Mother
Statues looking to you
Jewels adorning you
Stars shining
Remember us now!

I am a soldier in the Salvation Army, which I am loyal to. I am also a confirmed,if not a practicing Catholic. This poem won me Honorable Mention on another site. I thought I would share it here.
