VIOLIN TUNES OF BESEECHING PLIGHT
Sad violin tunes echo gloom
reminding me of gripping woe
I must conquer with faith's fresh bloom
for divine strength to make me glow.
Seeking for help like babe who cries
I beseech God to heal my soul
midst needs yon light for grievous eyes...
oh, so longing to be made whole.
In praying to the Almighty
my heart wrestles for earnest plight
as teardrops show sincerity
for success of triumphant flight.
Communing with good Lord brings joy
against weeping, sorrow and pain
smiting worry and doubt that annoy
toward wondrous thanksgiving gain.
Supplication to Christ always
upon His inviting altar
builds trust, marked by grace toward praise
knowing that He is never far.
Intimacy with gracious King
of compassion and mercy's thrill
guards my will from guilty lurking
to soar along truth of growth hill.
Around Saviour’s compassion bond
my spirit claims prayer victory
staying serene, sans magic wand
assured of miracles' glory.
Now, violin tunes are vibrant
reverberating gratitude
with melody so jubilant
toward reaching-out altitude.
*Psalm 39:12 Hear my prayer, O LORD, and give ear unto my cry; hold not thy peace at my tears: for I am a stranger with thee, and a sojourner, as all my fathers were.
