Vignette-Winning Gold
He won gold,sprinting apace
Yet on a Sunday would not race;
Later,upon a mission field
His freedom lost,was made to yield-
Then met his master,face to face.
Tribute to Eric Liddell(1902-1945) of 'Chariots of Fire' fame,died in a Japanese internment camp.
