RUTH
her husband,son of a lady of leisure
her lineage,a tribe fro Lot's incest
they us left,a priceless bequest
thru Obed,Jesse,David they were able
to give us a child in a stable
TAILPIECE
it is not our background
natural gifts or net worth
or even the pigment of our skin-
with a clean sheet,forgiven
by grace,a new life,now can begin
