View From My Window

Under the blue sky,
The mountain peak is reminiscing quietly,
Volcanoes from past slumbering quietly,
Sometime awakened, sends tremors all around rapidly.

On the mountain peak, no one lives,
No church, temple or huge mansion exists,
Birds and animals live there freely, trees and forest exist,
Sometimes deer and fauna come to drink the water in the flowing creek.

Behind the houses, greenbelt exists,
Big trees make me feel so little,
The tree leaves dance in mild winds,
Heart feels peace and tranquility looking at this scene.

The willow tree looks beautiful in my garden,
Blue jays nest there, don’t know where hummingbirds live,
Roses, jasmine, petunias adorn my garden,
I spend my days looking at this charming scenario.

Your description of the view from your window is lovely. It reminds me of my own view, although I don't have the privilege of having mountains or volcanoes in my sight. Your words have reminded me of the beauty and diversity of nature. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful poem, Jay.

I feel tranquil just by reading your poem. Got room for one more in your room with a view? Bravo.

This view from your window, I too enjoyed. Literally I have observed the mountain peaks, the jays nesting on the tall trees and your garden with a mix of beautiful flowers. Lovely composition.
