Victory

You will see me someday
Seeing only the truth
The open wound deep inside
Despairing I hide

The growing bitter bed
Together apart we wed
You will see and obey
Its not your way

Like a raw raisin pit
I won't miss you one bit
You'll wish you could see
I will be happy

Wellsprings of water
Drawing deep will rise
You'll miss me
I surmise

You will walk the silted sand
With bags in hand
Upon the realization
I can

Reach the depths of despair without you
And find a smile in my heart.
