VICTORY
Despite the tragedy that is being born
In spite of life being mostly a traumatic event
And the only way out being a daunting challenge
The little moments make it all worthwhile
At 3 am, taking in all the times
seeing your partner sleeping peacefully
Seeing your son happy and kicking
Saying hello to your mom in the morning
talking to your father till late at night
Playing with your Dog
or Just looking at her
receiving a call from an old friend
Talking for hours and finding out they are doing well
laughing about life with your brothers
The sound of rain when you are inside
Having a sip of tea
Someone just saying congratulations
you have come so far
Falling in love with yourself
Having peace in your heart
Taking a breath and another breath
These moments that you forget
How much work it is just to stay alive
They make it all worth it.
