Silence, heavy as the weight of doubt
Falls like the flakes, forever glistening
Through the light, tumbling all about
Erasing the darkness, joy’s christening
Painting the heart who is always listening
Breathless snow, whirling and twirling
Dancing through the thoughts, exciting
Sea of laughter, whispering and swirling
Echoing through the soul, alive, inciting
Enormous hopes and dreams, so inviting
Dazzling the night, like stars alive, so bright
Praying to the One who made us, everyone
With grace so spontaneous, full of insight
Embracing with a faith that won’t be outdone
It is alive, a fire on the inside – a heart won
In the snowflake, amazing as the quiet love
Who never leaves, never forsakes, abides
In the spirit of those who believe, up above
There is One who knows every heart, decides
That the victory is ours – He always provides
