Excellent! No wonder a statue of John Brown is to be found in Balmoral! Brown's relationship with the Queen will always remain a subject of great speculation!! Regards // paul

Great entry for the contest, Jack! I love great clerihews and this is a GREAT ONE! So sorry to hear about your Mum. I'll remember you both in my prayers.Seems like the golden years are not all they are supposed to be. I'm not sure you are aware my Vera passed in July. She had Parkinsons disease and dementia is a part of that. Glad you liked What Did You Do In the War, Daddy. Bob
