Vexing Amphibian

Oh, the vexing amphibian -
from the Nile or Caribbean.
Is it a toad or a frog,
a tadpole or polliwog,
a newt or salamander,
crocodile, alligander?
Oh, the vexing amphibian -
from the Nile or Caribbean.

Thank you for supporting my Flash Poetry Challenge, David. Your poem was randomly chosen to feature in my 'Results' blog, which is now up and running. Your poem is a delight. See you later, alligander ;)

Amphibians rock. I hope you are lucky enough to have a colony of lizards. I i love your poem.

I just saw a lizard sunning himself today, as a matter of fact, and yep, agreed, amphibians are pretty cool.
