It's called, "The Greatest Story Ever Told," A virgin's child fulfilling prophecy The Son of God who died for you and me The Bible tells, "to save our sinful souls." Another story just not quite as old The struggle of a people to be free Some fought and died for our democracy These freedoms we enjoy, the debt that's owed And yet we draw on faith to give us hope Conveniently we worship as we please Just thankful that one day is all it costs So we can get back to our slipp'ry slope Our veterans gave us this life of ease They died for us, just not hung from a cross by Daniel Turner dedicated to all United States Veterans

I agree my friend. They paid the terrible price for our freedom which we take for granted. As my dad used to say "If good men don't stand up and defend what is ours bad men will take it away." A fine write. Seven God Bless, JB

The death of our Lord Jesus Christ for us sinful mankind still continues to change lives:) and yes, we must thank Him and remember those veterans who died for the country:)
