Vesture

I care not for such things yes you cast your eye on my holey socks... ...for my pockets not laded with gold coin... ...truth visits me...these riches we do not feast... ...I care only for my love... ...my poems for her I scroll... ...to daily work hard...the wolves from the door I fend... ...with luck celebrate a goblet of ale... at days end... ...my hair is shaggy I care not... ...my hair is grey I care not... ...I care only for this bliss... ...my loves smile and her morning kiss... I care not we without great honor... for we have discovered each other... ...for without you I will ever mourn... ...for my heart forever will be wrenched... from you apart my heart will be torn... ...from you apart my love will not be... for this love I will not tend...
