Very Good Day
The thunderstorm washed away last night
Everything bad on earth
The rain took all the chalk away
So today, is a very good day
The trees are green though it's October
And the sun is shining so clearly
The gentle wind makes the tall trees sway
Yes today is a very good day
I smile when I step out of artificial light
Into the warmth of the autumn sun
I'm begging the peaceful feeling, "stay-
'cause today is a very good day"
