Vermont in October

amidst stick figures, the shrouded wind
spray paints lime, bronze, crimson,
sunshiny-orange, a little here and there
to the delight of a poet’s wandering eye.

wanderlust of Autumnal loveliness,
breathtaking token of red-ivyness
and still green, a cornucopian covering,
amidst stick figures, tall and bare.

O! You have captured the beauty of the Vermont fall so well! Lived across the state line from Vermont (in NH) for four years, and the Autumns are (usually) spectacular. Thanks, Kim.

patches of autumn here and there, so distinctly addressed with such lithesome wordplay, kim!

Oh, you make me so jealous, I want to see autumn colors in reality, haven't seen them since I was a little bitty girl in New York. Enjoy the beauty my friend, and thank you for sharing the view :)
