Verily this day
verily
before this day
has an angel appeared
restful in an unspoken memoir
of a curious innocence
is her presence
forged-
truly
such a
blinding countenance
In the sweet line of belovedness
that could damn a legion in war
ruthlessly before their gods
In the instance of just a gaze
would they fall-
deliver me
that I might not know the same fate
bafore that righteous womb
that I may plead to gain favor
In the drawn out conclusions
that I might bear the yoke
of an allie
