Verdant Mountains of Nirvana

My spirit athirst for a placid scene Of the verdant mountains of nirvana. Where rivers and ocean are azures sky. The lull rises and fall, of yawning waves, Coastal seashore's seagulls and sea lions. Brine sent and damp redolence evergreens. Envision a bound journey through tall pine; Cool twilight of the fading day drawing Shadows veil by drip line branches of trees, Nature's wildlife reverberating sound. My spirit athirst for a placid scene Of the verdant mountains of nirvana. 5/17/2020

I used to live in Seattle and have driven down this gorgeous coastline all the way to Los Angeles. Your poem captures some of that breath taking beauty Eve. I enjoyed your video too. Thank you. Congratulations on your wonderful win! xxoo

p.s. I had the pleasure to drive down the Oregon coast once after visiting my grandmother in Salem. It was the last time I saw her. Those coast memories will always remind me of her beautiful spirit. Thank you for including the video, dear Eve.

I use to live an hour away from Winchester Bay in Oregon in a small town called Sutherlin. Our drives up and down the coastal line and the mountains are one of my most memorable times. The sights are just stunning.

Eve, you had me at 'verdant'! I love how you wove such a peaceful scene from nature's sights and sounds. Being a San Diego native, I am a big lover of the coastal wildlife and terrain, smells and vistas. Just beautiful, congrats on your win! Hugs ~ John
