We watch our body vaporise Although it still exists We watch it disappear in surprise A delight we dare not resist So we still are but in formlessness Body invisible Having melted into Absolute Oneness A part of space indivisible We thus remain Pure & unstained 26-September-2020

A part of space indivisible, I know U.S. your poem is about meditation but I have an affinity to this line on a spiritual/scientific level, every atom in the cosmos is connected and every atom is needed, simply has to be, great poem cheers David

Thank you for explaining U.S. it’s a very complex notion for a layman like myself, but also a fascinating one to understand, sounds like the condition you address is so subliminal must be experienced to be expressed, thank you for taking the time to answer my question I appreciate it, cheers David

All questions are valid David. Yet the answers may not satisfy the limited analytical mind ~ There is identity and senses, thus subject & object. Separateness. We then get to interconnectedness, a feeling of unity. The next stage is Samadhi where we be to become one. The experience is beyond mind body and therefore cannot be satisfactorily expressed. Samadhi may be impermanent or permanent ... which attribute of oneness is embraced is also a question ... awareness or bliss or will or power or creativity. Topic too long to discuss in the comments box.

Wise words U.S. I’m not familiar with the 5 sheaths terminology I need to explore more, could I ask you does reality exist when in an absolute state of oneness, or can the awareness of reality only be truly found in oneness, maybe it’s not a valid question cheers David

Science & spirituality indeed do converge, even though the basics of physics is yet to be understood by man, simply because the assumptions are erroneous. For example, spirituality talks of 5 sheaths of human mind body but science accepts only what can be seen & measured ~ Happy you enjoyed the poem which is one of the 112 meditations of the Vijnana Bhairava Tantra as interpreted by Swami Lakshmanjoo in his book ‘the secret supreme’, which I’ve put into a poetry form.
