Vapors On My Window
Vapors On My Window
Peeking out a window through blinds that never close
Seeing what you see not knowing what you know
Everyday they are out there and their numbers seem to grow
Peeking out a window through eyes that never close
Panic breathes unevenly as the vapors splash the glass
Momentarily obstructing things but the vapor never lasts
The mist lifts again clearing the windows of the past
Then a breath covers it watching it fade away too fast
Three days without moving an inch, planted in permanent ache
No need to ever sleep when you always wanna stay awake
No need to even eat when the plastic fruit isn't fake
Paranoia meets suffering in a much needed coffee break
