Vanity
Our hearts have huge capacity
When used wisely
Yet so many hearts just hold
Selfishness and vanity
Love and attention for only self
No thought for another being
Visions only of appearance and ego
Eyes and heart unseeing!
Nothing natural in behaviour or looks
Applied and rehearsed for perception
Vain and shallow hearts
Prioritise their own reflection
Self conceited swollen hearts
Never to experience the joy of giving
Unable to set narcissism free
To know the gift of charitable living!
