Vanishing Point
From the point of no return where limits reach
The ambiguity between what's heard and seen
Would mind define imaginary speech,
To correct what isn’t there, a different scene.
From far the noise is heard, as seconds past,
It’s gone and you still hear what went before
The speed of light had come and gone at last
When silence felt the noise, it would ignore.
The vapours that you chose to leave a mist
Would fantasy of wanderings that you pang-
Discover, as you near that none exist
And doubt becomes the friend for you to hang.
There’s a law to the unknown with finer sense
It is conscience and the void between it moves,
With many poltroon guides of commonsense
My finding Faith, has found one, and it proves-
The doubts have gone, and roads ahead are clear
And lead to further still, by guiding light
Then vanishes a distance, some may hear
Becoming more their friend than guiding might.
With much discovered, minds defensive tool
Has persevered with strength, and viewing us
Is God, who has to deal with every fool
Whose doubt of insignificance gathers, thus.
