Vanished
Two beach chairs sit side by side, one beneath
a red umbrella. They face a sea
that curves along the shore out to
where a lone white sail now drifts
. . . where blue of sea meets sky
and land’s vanished, like
the occupants
of those two
wooden
chairs.
