Value of Caring

wrap up some pairs to share with whom you care
apples would be fine,  tucked in corners of the basket
fill in some truffles and ruffles of ribbon to  adorn
giving and caring is a gift that one does not see.

those who receive  can partake of the fruit and give thanks
treasure the generosity and value of the giver
the one that gives from the heart and not the mind
and retains the value of caring  which nurtures both
