Listen to poem:
You got me I was weak it's true A terrene bond By tacky glue Too worldly; Thoughts and self-desires Is just not how my Soul aspires Hindsight hurts I disappoint Myself Alignment out of joint Yet, here I stand The day is fresh.. No longer caught In soulful mesh Of thoughts so dark Though light is small I awake to hunger For right and tall So then, replace Such mystic hope.. A little faith Throws me a rope The valley walk Must surely end Return to be Eternal friend

Hi Sam, thanks for visiting me. Hindsight hurts, but it's like looking in our mirror. Helps us see where we need to make adjustments to make God's heart happy, and put him first in our lives, not our self desires or interest. So easy for us to get off balanced. Enjoyed very much.

I agree Barbara thank you for your comments - the theory is much easier than the practice at times :)

Hope extends a lifeline, a gesture that I find incredibly uplifting. It is through faith that we frequently find ourselves in transformative spaces. Your poem is exquisitely crafted and skillfully delivered, capturing my attention from the very beginning. Despite the numerous obstacles and hardships you have encountered, you have managed to convey your resilience in an eloquent and emotional way. Your words resonate deeply, painting a vivid portrait of your strength and determination. SoupMail

Despite the challenges and difficulties, you’ve expressed here so eloquently and in such a raw and poetic manner how you stand tall, i felt the depth of this, and i think one who dares to speak openly about emotions is courageous and strong definitely not weak! Hope throws u a rope! I love that, faith gets us to places often. Well written and presented

Oh my gosh, dear Ink, thank you for your gentle compassion. Poetry reaches deep sometimes and brings emotions to the surface, as you know, but with that often comes a strange hope and healing. Love what you do and thank you for your continued kindness :)
