Valentine Wedding
Pleasures of a season begin again
Refilling life's honey from festive days,
Now, your delicate plea offers me
An eternity like the mountain’s stream--
That I accept as I see your ardor in it.
Let me harvest fine grain with you,
To make yeast and inhale its steam,
And lay fresh, white linen on the bed
While a wedded veil flutters by,
To sit with you at our kitchen table
Quietly writing a Valentine letter.
