Valentine Profession

If Cupid had no arrow, Shakespeare never penned Romeo, And Juliet, and tales of Othello too, Darling, I'd still love you. If Titanic never sank in the deep, While lovers pledged their love to keep, Dying slowly but still staying true, Darling you know I'd still love you. Country music could just forget, To sing of love, pain, and regret, And pretend the sky is always blue, Darling, truth is I'd still love you. If romance was truly out our doors, Gone with the ancient troubadours, Leaving the world sinking in rue, Darling, fear not I'd still love you. Push me away if you can, I'll just come back a better man, For with everything we've been through, Darling, be sure I'd still love you.
