Valentine Plea
VALENTINE PLEA
I’ve never used the ‘L’ word,
I’ve never really dared.
If I told you how I cared, I’d be afraid
You’d laugh and walk away.
Whenever I am near you
I know you are the one
I want to spend my life with.
Just like Juliet on that balcony,
You are my morning sun,
My waking thought, my every minute,
Every second of my day
But I can never find the word to tell you.
And so I have plucked up courage
To tell you in this card.
Please be my Valentine.
Please never laugh and walk away.
You’ll know how I feel now you’ve read it
I love you ..... There, I've said it
