Notes About The Poem

Vagabond

The vagabond hears
a nomad's song,

his footsteps follow the wind,
seeking sweet freedom

in the fire of wanderlust,
burning chains

that would keep him bound
in the shadows of doubt;

under starlit sky and in morning light
the traveller finds solitary refuge

on the neverending road.

Hello Chetta, I liked how you captured the restless spirit of the wanderer, yearning for freedom and liberation from earthly constraints. I also liked how your scenes lay out the nomadic journey, where each step is a pursuit of self-discovery amidst the vast expanse of the world. Through your words, I feel the exhilaration of breaking free from the chains of doubt and embracing the boundless possibilities of the open road. Truly inspiring. - Blessings, Daniel
