Vacant Dream
All alone in the middle of the street I stood
in a place so unusual that I had not seen before.
I search frantically for something that was
known to me but I was at a loss.
I ran passing the faces of many people
with a look of distraught upon their face.
What a night it was, the light of the moon beaming
on me with feel of being pinpointed.
I speak with words of confusion not knowing
who or where I was. I wondered if I was
alone in my cold mind, running without a stop.
I felt as I had come to an abrupt end for the light
of day had come. Alas I see what a fool I was
not knowing I was midst what was a Vacant Dream.
