~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Muted blue, trembling – a bruise
Over the heavens, smokey expressions
Hope, hesitant and bleeding light into the music,
Notes, both gentle and creative – wise
Like the melodious breath of a soul whose v o i c e
Speaks bold, gracious dreams, feelings
Blessed by the wind, the stars, the moon
The music of beautiful, soothing and assured
Gentle pastels, lavender and peach – accepting
Rivers of blessings, lessons in truth
Caressing the spirit who believes and rejoices,
Amazed by the kindness, the mercy, the grace
Overcoming the silence, the solitude
Lonely like an ache, arising from the prayers
Sent to erase the darkest place,
The desperation, the despair, all the cares
Beneath layers of dread, films of doubting
Surviving the can’t, the dusk bleeding through
Moments in twilight, with hints of mellow hues
Hushed hazel, naïve as the dusty roses
Abiding on the winds, hesitant and whimsical,
Wistful as the mourning light, falling
Across a bed of silence, a sea of mystery,
Staggering leaves in autumn’s paint, flushed
Like the edges of a memory,
Pensive and yearning to see through the melodies,
The poetry binding its senses,
Through words in lasting traces of light,
Graceful as summer, yet wishful as autumn
And bleeding visions of winter through the thoughts
In her V O I C E …. She sings hope
She sings peace, she breaths a grace
That lasts, never leaves
The heart without its rhythmic truth,
The soul without its pulsing dreams,
The spirit without its sequence of grace
Arising on the life who believes
He is alive and He is the reason I can sing…
Forever sing, swaying with the music,
The muse, the moments
Pouring out a melody of faith
That agrees – each note is a blessing
From the cross, and all through heaven
Angel’s beckon with their music
In one lasting message, a message
Of One whose v o I c e brings the good news,
News of deliverance
From the worst sin
The worst doom
Because He is… I can live with assurance
That I am saved by the grace that He grants
With love sent from above,
Love that is eternally mine!
In a still, soft v o I c e, He invites each of us
to escape that awful place
that we were never meant to face!
