Useless Macaroni

“USELESS MACARONI”

the windows to our souls are dirty
our brains are nailed to the center
of a bulls-eye
stubborn like mules
the dandelion gets a haircut

time is useless with no love
time is wasted on those
who take advantage of our love

the jack-in-the-box has a broken spring
the heartless and conniving whores
never give up

I’ve been here before
the signs are louder than ever
I must unmask that which acts for me
for the show must not go on

my love isn’t theirs
and it never has been
my madness is not for the taking

the time on my timeline is now
I swear on everything that hasn’t murdered me
that my day will come with the last laugh
as I make love to the sun

soon I’ll make love to her
soon she will make love to me
and our love child will be Jupiter
