Urban Ode

Urban nightfall and dreams grow in the city This town has proven to show little pity To live here you need a very hard shell At times the place resembles a portion of hell Yet there are dreamers here who deserve much better So get down to it, and write a letter "To whomever is listening" no matter how far City dwellers seek love in many a bar Drink loosens the tongue and makes us brave So before you begin to become a slave to passion or gin better make your decision This poem I present to you with little revision
