Urban Island

Beware there man when out for your drink Your wondering eye the one that don't think Basking in glory man of the hour Spotting one there pretty hair with a flower Spending your pay wife at home wait She seems to like you in your drunker-ed state Unaware you're half in the bag You've gained the attention Bell Island Hag Now there is a legend this Hag be pretty That seek out men men that are gritty Rough and tough ready to haggle She has a deal to the lane with a gaggle Not sure you heard it particular laugh The spell is cast down with the staph But that's not all in loves embrace True Hag revealed in terror you face Wrath of sin the ugly Hag shown Wouldn't have done it you'd only known To late for that the cost is spent Many of men have been where you went

Oh, so will you keep an eye out for Guy Loranger? He would be around 64 now. He was tall and handsome. I'd say "dark" but maybe his hair has gone white. Hopefully he still has some!!!

That hag does not sound like someone I'd want to meet up with. Was this for urban legend contest?

Yes it was, a little darker than usual. Not sure how it will be received. I've been away from writing for a while but always looking for prompts that trigger writing. Urban legend reminded me of an old story that was told to us about the island.
