Uprisings, Once in a While
I turned off the news today
No fear of missing out
It’s the same it’s been forever
No need to shout
Unpopular wars, beleaguered leaders
The rich get richer, submerge bottom-feeders
Oh, uprisings occur once in a while
Much ado over nothing
They scuttle out of style
So, I’ll lean back in my chair
get some fresh air
wait for the Lord to call me back up there
