Upon Each Day Anew
As I stop to look at life
Aren't we all just trying to survive
Doing our best to get by
Upon each day anew
The best we can to live it free
You do you while I do me
No reason to rip at each other's seams
Upon each day anew
It should be our hope to come out strong
Doing all we can to get along
Though we may not all sing the same song
Upon each day anew
I can still reach out my hand
Take yours in it with no demands
Send waves of love across this land
Upon each day anew
Look inside each other's hearts
Accept ourselves for who we are
Would be the perfect way to start
Upon each day anew
