Up To Your Knees

I think I'm fantastic, indestructable plastic

I dwell on the land and the sea,

Try as you will, any landfill

There's no way to get rid of me.

We are in our millions, heading towards billions

We'll soon be up to your knees,

Yet you pay no heed, the earth she may plead,

But still, you do as you please.

Gary, your creativity shines in this plea to recognize our dangerous and escalating pollution predicament with plastic. A great personification poem done with dramatic flair. Congratulations on your wonderful win. Warmest wishes.. ~Susan

A classy plea for recycling and saving the earth/sea. Not the usual harangue. It's a FAVE for me, Gary. Best wishes, Gershon
