I love writing with my pencil, Writing morning, noon, and night. I use it when it’s bright and shiny, Then later, when I turn out the light. Of course, I sharpen my pencil when it’s blunt, I sharpen it to a shiny head, And this exhausts me every time, I end up passing out in bed. And sometimes my pencil’s hard and sharp, A hard number 2 or number 3. Then other times it’s a black 4 or 5, I write soft, my hand writes delicately. I love writing songs with my pencil, It’s the thing I most like to do. My partner enjoys hearing my songs, When she helps me write them too.

The experience of putting your thoughts on paper for the perusal of others offers a certain inner satisfaction that must be experienced to be appreciated, letting your own words guide you to a deeper awareness of your surroundings is priceless. Emile.

This is wittily clever, Lewis. Sharing a pencil with a partner is most ideal! // paul
