Unusual Love
I know that when we gave this new life a start
We never, either one, wanted to involve the heart.
As we are both so clearly damaged
Neither one somehow has life managed.
And no we have yet to meet face to face
We still have our very own special place.
Through your words you so eloquently spoken
You have started repairing my heart that is broken.
Though we will meet some day
I know we will somehow find a way.
It is imperative for you to see in my eyes
That my feelings and words are not lies.
You have seen the darkness in my soul that resides.
Yet you alone still wish to remain standing at my side.
Your complete submission to me
Has truly and finally set me free.
You want to be my pet and slave
A little pain from me is what you crave.
One day I will place upon your neck my collar
And on that day you will be allowed to holler.
I say thank you to my loving pet.
Our course has now been set.
For this unusual love of ours
Is easing and erasing all our scars.
Courage and strength are just a few gifts you have given unto me.
There is yet one more precious gift that you have allowed me to see.
That is the inner beauty I have within.
Come, our unusual love does begin.
