untold truths
As spring graces the face of the earth,
an underlying coldness settles below.
Petals dance in the fleeting breeze,
yet a quiet goodbye waits beneath
Time and time again, cherry blossoms bloom,
as the October winds threaten to defile them
But if winter lingers on the surface,
and spring beneath,
doesn't that mean that with every bloom,
a bone-chilling frost begins to creep.
