If you mean Mary of Nazareth, she gave her consent in Luke 1:48ff the Magnificat. I read somewhere that every young Jewish girl dreamed of being the mother of the Messiah that Isaiah had prophesied. If you mean a Mary of today, I think that might be called human trafficking and it is far too common. Regardless, it is a great haiku, J-Mag. I give it a 7.

Thank you for reading this. Luke 1:30-34 (this comes BEFORE Luke 1:48) -- she is TOLD she is having this special child... she may be happy to have been CHOSEN but she was NEVER ASKED. And if you do not understand the difference between volunteering and being voluntold, then I cannot explain it.
