Untitled

Down, down, down we spiral into the great unknown.
Dark, dark darker becomes our world till bitter were entombed.
Down, down, down we go into the endless crag, into a world of emptiness
where our senses start to drag.
Strong, strong, strong we hold until our dying day
and when our final destination comes we simply fade away.

Terry, it’s always amazing to see and feel such imagery. the spiral of falling down... i wonder if this poem is related to your "deep is the hole." wishing my destination to stay as vivid as the sky... xox~ Linda

A dark write well executed. The repetition adds and is complimentary to your write. Well done, Terry. Licia :-)

I was very touched by this write, Terry! It's so true, my friend. We are like a flower...here today, gone tomorrow...but for the time allotted to us, we are to bring beauty into the world! Thanks for doing that with this poem!
